Our Instructors

Anthony, in addition to being the owner of G4 Sports, fell in love with baseball and eventually softball along with his two daughters and wife once they started playing.  

Anthony's catching instruction focuses on flexibility, form, receiving, blocking, throwing, tagging, and everything in between.  He'll develop a plan for you to work on the areas you want to focus on, while also reinforcing sound catching principles and mechanics, and of course a little conditioning at the end of each session.  

Anthony has been coaching travel softball in some capacity for the last 8 years, and is currently the Head Coach of his 12U Ohio Stampede team.  

Anthony's lessons are best geared towards players age 12U and older, but are available to any ages.

Ava Gattuso attends North Canton Hoover High School and has been playing softball for 10 years.  She has been playing travel softball for six years and currently plays for Athletics Mercado 14U Gold National team.  She is primarily a catcher but is a utility player with vast experience both infield and outfield.  

In addition to playing, Ava is a Stark County umpire.  Ava is in the USA Softball High Performance program and has goals of playing college softball.  She continues to be coached by D1 athletes and hopes to pass on these skills to the younger generation.  

Ava is a perfect fit for a younger player (8U/10U) looking to learn a new position or improve their game.
