A product of Canton McKinley High School, Matt Davis has been giving private hitting and catching lessons for 3+ years. Matt played and started for 4 years at Malone University and was selected to the All GLIAC team, as well as First team all Midwest Region. Matt is the current catching coach and assistant hitting coach at Malone as well as currently obtaining his M.B.A. at the school. Matt has extensive travel ball coaching experience as well where he has spent two years as an assistant at the 18u level, one year as the 15u head coach, and most recently was the head coach of a 16u team..

Ava Gattuso attends North Canton Hoover High School and has been playing softball for 10 years.  She has been playing travel softball for six years and currently plays for Athletics Mercado 14U Gold National team.  She is primarily a catcher but is a utility player with vast experience in both infield and outfield.  

In addition to playing, Ava is a Stark County umpire.  Ava is in the USA Softball High Performance program and has goals of playing college softball.  She continues to be coached by D1 athletes and hopes to pass on these skills to the younger generation.  

Ava is a perfect fit for a younger player (8U/10U) looking to learn a new position or improve their game.

Emi Fankhauser is a 2026 graduate from Hoover High School where she was a 3 year letter award winner and a recipient of several league and NE Ohio honors.  She has played multiple positions including catcher, first base, outfield, and short stop. 

Emi has been playing softball for over 12 years and has vast experience in multiple positions. She is very excited to have committed to continue playing softball at the  collegiate level for Walsh University as a utility player.
